Discover JRMC
Core Elements
Our approach to discipleship focuses on the whole person. This approach ensures that students will leave having been challenged in all facets of life.
Spiritual
We believe that spiritual disciplines are an integral part of experiencing the abundant life Christ promised in the Bible. Students are given time and teaching to develop in various spiritual disciplines, including prayer, fasting, devotional reading, Bible study, and scripture memorization. Through our Spiritual Formation groups, each student is linked with one of our MC Coaches in a mentoring relationship that is designed to encourage accountability and growth in every aspect of their life. Students are also exposed to dynamic biblical teaching from various speakers during our weekly Ministry Fundamentals sessions and twice per month where we receive leadership training from the JRA preaching team.
Relational
Healthy social skills are a vital component of any ministry or career. Constant interaction with a diverse group of individuals helps the students develop skills that will benefit them throughout their lives. Teamwork, accountability, and time in service together also help to grow a biblical understanding of Christ centered relationships.
Intellectual
As a part of the JRMC experience, each student will earn transferable college credit (up to 16 hours) through Global University, Central Bible College, and/or Evangel University. This gives JRMC students an academic edge and a solid work ethic that will assist them later in college, ministry, or their career. However, unlike typical college students, JRMC students are also involved in full-time ministry. Learning to balance this workload helps the students to develop practical skills in time-management and self-discipline.
Practical
Every JRMC student is thoroughly involved in the ministry of JRA. They are given daily opportunities to practically apply what they learn through the program. Hands-on, behind the scenes experience allows students to get acquainted with the ins and outs of ministry.
Physical
Students in JRMC have memberships to The River, JRA’s fitness center. Our goal is for the students to become good stewards of their bodies as they work to establish healthy habits. This center includes a full-size basketball court, an indoor track, cardiovascular equipment, nautilus machines, free weights, and men’s and women’s locker rooms.

Brian Cunningham
In Master’s, my walk with God has grown so much through prayer, studying the Bible, and participating in outreaches. I’ve been stretched in ways I never expected. MC has been a shining example of unity between believers. The friends I’ve made will be friends forever, the principles I’ve learned will always dwell within me, and my passion for God has been launched to new heights.
