About JRMC
Where is JRMC located?
JRMC is a ministry of James River Assembly, located in Ozark, MO.
When does JRMC begin?
We're an eight month program with two entry points, so you can begin in either late August or early January. Check out our orientation page for current dates.
What is the tuition cost?
Off campus housing is $3,150.00 and On Campus Housing is $6,599. Learn more here.
What is the age limit for applicants?
Applicants must be between the ages of 18 and 26.
Where do the JRMC students live?
We place four students together in a 2 bedroom, 2 1/2 bathroom town home within 1 mile of JRA. A portion of each student's tuition covers housing expenses during the program. There is also off campus housing available.
Are meals provided?
Each student's tuition includes a bi-weekly grocery allowance of $50. Each apartment is responsible to plan their meals and to purchase their groceries together. Additionally, each student will receive a bi-weekly gas allowance of $40.
Does JRMC take any missions trips?
JRMC takes at least one missions trip per year. A portion of each student's tuition goes toward covering part of the cost of the missions trip. Additional funding is raised both individually and by the group. Past trips include El Salvador, Guatemala, the Dominican Republic, Nicaragua and Louisiana in response to Hurricane Katrina.
How many college credits do JRMC graduates earn?
our graduates earn six credits through Global University and are eligible to receive an additional 6 credits from Evangel University or 10 credits from Central Bible College.
Are JRMC students prohibited from any activities during their enrollment?
Due to the ongoing and intense nature of the MC experience, outside employment is not allowed. Additionally, JRMC students lay aside attendance at movie theaters, the use of TV's and dating for a season during their experience.
Can JRMC students have internet access in their apartment?
JRMC students are allowed to have internet access with the use of a filter and an internet accountability system.
Are there any additional requirements?
Applicants must demonstrate a passionate commitment to Christ, exemplified by outstanding character, a teachable spirit and faithfulness in ministry. In addition, applicants are required to provide a high school diploma or GED, driver's license, reliable car, car insurance, health insurance and a valid passport.
Will everyone that applies be accepted?
Unfortunately, not everyone who applies to be a part of JRMC can be accepted. However, prayerful attention is given to each applicant.
